The water-resistant transmitter has a large, easy to read keypad. Stimulation continues for as long as you hold the button, up to ten seconds. To prevent over-correction, there is a ten second lockout. The Good and Bad tone-only option lets you deliver an audible tone that reinforces your dog's learning without stimulation.Transmitter operates off one of 2,048 random ID codes that allow it to communicate only with the receivers. In the unlikely event the ID code interferes with another system operating nearby, you can select another random ID code.The collar features a fray-resistant nylon strap with a reflective band.
